Manchester is very well served with transport options both within the UK and overseas. There are three trains per hour from London from early morning until evening and the principal station, Manchester Piccadilly, is located just a 5-minute walk from the conference venue.

Manchester International Airport has flights from most European capitals and non-stop connections with at least a dozen US and Canadian cities. There are frequent trains from the airport to Manchester Piccadilly with a journey time from 15-25 minutes. There is also a Metrolink light rail service.

For those travelling by car the M6 motorway, connecting from the M1, M5, or M40, provides the principal north-south route with the M62 providing the corresponding east-west linkage. There is a multi-storey car park on Charles street just 100m from the conference venue though, as a warning, the parking slots are rather narrow. If you are using a Satnav M1 3BB is the most suitable postcode to follow.
